Responsibilities
* Review and develop long-term planning to ensure strong curriculum coverage, progression and a broad range of engaging learning experiences across the phase.
* Lead and support colleagues in planning, teaching and evaluating learning that inspires and motivates children.
* Promote and maintain high standards across all areas of the curriculum.
* Work closely with staff and other professionals to maximise their contribution to teaching and learning within the phase.
* Ensure planning, assessment, target setting, recording and reporting systems are implemented in line with academy policy.
* Manage classes effectively, using approaches that meet pupils' needs and inspire, motivate and challenge learners.
