A forward‑thinking, values‑driven organisation within the education sector is seeking an experienced HR Partner to join their supportive and collaborative people team. You’ll be part of a culture built on trust, humility and teamwork.
This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, with the potential for something permanent in the future, and is home‑based with hybrid travel twice per week. You’ll work primarily across a portfolio of primary and secondary schools.
Your New Role
As HR Partner, you will provide hands‑on, operational HR support across your school portfolio, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and principals. This is a role where you can genuinely add value — stepping into a busy environment, building relationships and delivering pragmatic, solutions‑focused HR support.
Key areas of responsibility include:
1. Partnering closely with senior leaders, offering credible, practical guidance
2. Managingplex ER cases with confidence and autonomy
3. Supporting organisational change, including uing restructures
4. Advising on performance management
5. Driving process improvements and contributing to wider HR projects
6. Providing safeguarding‑aligned HR advice
What You Will Need to Succeed
7. Strong generalist HR experience, ideally at Business Partner level
8. Confidence managingplex ER and change independently
9. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strong, trusted relationships
10. Pragmatic problem‑solving skills and a solutions‑focused mindset
11. Resilience when working with more challenging school leaders
12. Experience within education is beneficial but not essential.
