Position: Program Buyer Location: Coventry Contract Type: Permanent Reports to: Program Purchasing Manager Mission: Manage sourcing activities for current and new programs and support annual cost-down initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate sourcing activities and RFQs for programs Maintain BOM cost tracking and sourcing calendars Ensure smooth communication between engineering, program, and purchasing teams Support supplier management, cost savings, and purchasing reports Assist with contract negotiations, PPAP, and material tracking Work with logistics to improve packaging and freight costs Requirements: 2 years of purchasing or similar experience Strong MS Office skills Fluent in English (second European language is a plus) Degree in business, engineering, or equivalent experience CIPS preferred Willingness to travel in the UK Key Attributes: Proactive, organized, and flexible Strong communicator and team player Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines
