Payroll Assistant
My client is hiring a Payroll Assistant for a niche but vital role within a growing accountancy firm that supports a loyal portfolio of clients across a range of sectors from single-director companies and SMEs to well-known service-based businesses, including a restaurant group in London.
With strong staff retention and a collaborative team of 10 across 2 sites, this firm values detail, dedication, and resilience and they’re looking for someone who can stand their ground, especially when it comes to navigating payroll complexities with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Weekly and monthly payroll processing
* Handling P30 submissions and subcontractor (subby) returns
* Pension auto-enrolment administration
* Managing portal access for up to 5 key clients
* Supporting with payroll queries and client communication
* Working closely with the team to ensure accuracy and compliance
