The Administration Team Leader plays a critical role in ensuring the effective coordination and oversight of administrative services within the andrology specialty at UCLH. This post requires a proactive and solutions-focused leader who can respond effectively to issues as they arise within a fast-paced and evolving clinical environment. The role has a strong emphasis on ownership of patient pathways, particularly the active management of the Patient Tracking List (PTL) to mitigate the risk of 52- and 65-week RTT breaches. Working closely with the clinical team, the post holder will provide operational leadership, foster a positive and accountable team culture, and ensure administrative processes support safe, timely, and high-quality patient care. Example: Maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out nursing procedures. Responsible for the safe custody of medication, including checking and administration. Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement. The post holder is responsible for the leadership and delivery of a responsive, high-quality administrative service, ensuring issues are identified and resolved promptly in a dynamic clinical environment. A key responsibility is the proactive management of the Patient Tracking List, taking ownership of RTT pathways to prevent potential 52- and 65-week breaches through effective monitoring, escalation, and coordination with clinical and managerial colleagues.
