What You'll Be Doing:
Step into a role that gives you genuine responsibility and the chance to make your mark. You'll:
1. Build strong client relationships and be their trusted advisor
2. Manage your own caseload with support on hand when you need it
3. Prepare pleadings, submissions and confidently represent clients in court, tribunals and mediation's
4. Develop negotiation strategies and deliver great outcomes for clients
5. Get involved in business development and help raise the profile of the team and firm
6. Work collaboratively with the firms other divisions
7. Mentor and support junior team members and trainees
What You'll Bring:
8. You're a problem-solver, a clear communicator and someone who enjoys getting to grips with complex issues.
9. Have a minimum of 2 years PQE, in litigation (flexible for the right person)
10. Experience in one or more of: Insolvency, Commercial or Residential Landlord & Tenant, Debt Recovery, Commercial Disputes, Contentious Executries, Employment Litigation
11. Confidence working with a variety of commercial and civil clients
12. Strong knowledge of Sheriff Court and Court of Session experiences
13. Advocacy experience - proofs, debates, motions, contentious hearings, mediation's
14. Excellent drafting skills and the ability to deliver clear, practical advice
15. A proactive mindset and enjoyment of both independent work and team collaboration
