We are seeking an outstanding and passionate teacher to join our small, nurturing village primary school with a big ambition - to deliver the very best for our children through inclusive, innovative and evidence-informed teaching. We’re looking for a passionate and committed teacher who shares this vision and is ready to contribute to our whole school journey of improvement.
About the Role:
Our mixed-age classes are a unique and rewarding part of our setting and due to this, there is flexibility around the year group you would teach. We’re more interested in finding the right teacher for our school than filling a specific classroom. If you’re an experienced practitioner with a flair for mixed-age teaching, or, you are looking to widen your teaching experience and it may be your first time teaching mixed-age classes, we’d love to hear from you.
This role comes with a subject leadership responsibility, this could be a core or foundation subject (please indicate your preferred subject area in your application), so unfortunately this position is not suitable for Early Career Teachers.
We’re Interested in Your Thinking:
* How have you contributed to shaping a curriculum that is driven by the latest educational research?
* What does an evidence-led approach look like in a small school context?
* How can you balance innovation with inclusivity and high standards across a mixed-age class?
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
* Is a strong communicator and a skilled classroom practitioner
* Has up-to-date knowledge of current educational research and effective practice
* Is committed to raising standards and improving outcomes for all children
* Brings energy, creativity and a willingness to try new ideas
* Has high expectations for every learner and is passionate about inclusion
* Enjoys working collaboratively and is keen to lead and inspire others
* Wants to play an active part in shaping our school’s future
In Return, We Offer:
* A welcoming and inclusive school community with a genuine family feel
* The opportunity to innovate and shape teaching within a small class setting
* Wonderful children who are eager to learn and full of curiosity
* A strong focus on staff wellbeing and professional development
* Access to our excellent forest school provision and outdoor learning opportunities
We are committed to finding the right person for our school. If you’re ready to bring your passion, expertise and creativity to a setting where your ideas will be valued and your impact felt, we’d love to meet you. Visits are strongly welcomed and encouraged. The role is a permanent position with a six month probabation period.
To arrange a visit or for further information, please contact office@laddingford.kent.sch.ukor call 01622871270 and ask to speak with the Headteacher.
The appointment of the successful candidate will be subject to the satisfactory completion of an enhanced DBS check, as well as other pre-employment safeguarding checks in accordance with school policy.
