The Management Accountant will be responsible for end-to-end financial management and reporting for a key business unit. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll provide accurate accounts, insight-driven analysis, and operational support, while also overseeing a small finance support team. Key responsibilities include: Producing monthly management accounts, including full P&L and balance sheet ownership Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving variances Delivering meaningful variance analysis and commentary Leading monthly financial reviews with operational managers Supporting and overseeing a Finance Administrator and Credit Controller Preparing VAT returns and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register Managing specific payment and reporting processes in line with internal controls Assisting with budgets, year-end reporting, and audit prep Supporting system use and acting as a key finance contact for operational teams Deputising for the Financial Controller where required As the successful Management Accountant, you will be a qualified finance professional with strong experience in a hands-on management accounting role. You'll be commercially aware, confident presenting financial insight, and able to build strong relationships across the business.
