Job Overview
Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in Fans, Motors, or Drives, looking for a home-based role covering the UK? Our client, a globally recognised leader in Human Machine Interface (HMI) components and solutions, is expanding their UK team. This position involves managing existing customer relationships and proactively seeking new business opportunities within the transport, automotive, and machinery sectors. Regular travel across the UK will be required.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share in fans, motors, drives, and automation sectors.
* Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients for long-term retention.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in transportation, automotive, and industrial machinery markets.
* Collaborate with customers on design-led solutions, providing technical insights and product expertise.
* Meet sales targets and KPIs, reporting progress to senior management.
Requirements
* Proven experience in business development or technical sales, particularly in motors, stepper motors, drives, or servo systems.
* Successful track record selling into transportation, automotive, or heavy-duty machinery industries.
* Strong strategic planning and results-driven sales skills.
