You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
We are adding 2 new Locality Employability Key Workers to our existing Skills and Employability team. These posts sit within Economic Development in Angus Council.
As a Locality Employability Key Worker your role will be to support the delivery of the Angus Employability Service through participating in a range of initiatives targeting adults and young people that will enhance people’s learning, development and employment opportunities.
Successful candidates will co-ordinate and develop individual learning plans for their clients, providing intensive person-centered bespoke support to assist our residents to overcome barriers and transition to sustained training or employment. Employability Key Workers work closely with employers to identify, secure and maintain meaningful work placements and provide ongoing monitoring and support of these placements, with the expectation that these will result in a positive destination.

Requirements
