Overview
Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Keele, Cheshire. Marley (in partnership with Marshalls) is a leader in pitched roofing systems and hard landscaping. We are recruiting an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join our Keele site.
You will report to the Site Engineering Manager and ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through safe, logical fault-finding and maintenance of all site equipment and machinery. You will work on equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems. This role requires an electrically biased engineer who can commute to the Keele site daily. Shift pattern: Continental 4 on 4 off (06:30–18:30 days; 18:30–06:30 nights).
Base pay range is provided as part of the package; salary is £53,558 (including shift allowance) plus benefits and overtime, with negotiation dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the continuous running of the production process by preventing downtime through fault-finding and maintenance of site equipment and machinery.
* Maintain and service a range of equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
* Work as an electrically biased engineer and contribute to safe, efficient plant operation.
Qualifications and required skills
* Electrical engineering skills are essential.
* Siemens PLC experience is highly desirable.
* PLC fault finding and diagnostic skills (programming experience would be a distinct advantage).
* Team player with attention to detail.
* Knowledge of HSE regulations & requirements.
* Computer literate with excellent communication skills.
