Overview
Description
Application Deadline: 24 April 2026
Department: BIM
Location: Dundalk
Team Overview
Our BIM (Building Information Modelling) team plays a vital role in delivering accurate, coordinated, and data-rich 3D models for use throughout the design, construction, and installation phases of our projects. Working closely with design engineers, project managers, and site teams, the department ensures that all mechanical and electrical services are fully integrated and clash-free prior to construction. This proactive approach helps reduce risk, improve efficiency, and enhance collaboration across all stakeholders — ultimately supporting the successful delivery of high-quality, bespoke MEP solutions.
Role Overview
We are looking to appoint a BIM Technician to support the wider BIM and Design teams in developing accurate, coordinated, and information-rich 3D models that facilitate design, offsite manufacture, and onsite installation.
This entry-to-intermediate role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital design, prefabrication, and BIM delivery within one of the UK and Ireland’s leading offsite construction specialists.

* Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience
* Responsible to: BIM Lead
What You'll Be Doing
Provide support in the production and coordination of 3D Revit MEP models for mechanical and electrical building services, assisting BIM Coordinators in developing well-coordinated, clash-free models that integrate architectural and structural elements. This includes helping to prepare federated models for internal design coordination and issue tracking using Revizto, as well as updating models in response to markups, design changes, and fabrication revisions under the guidance of senior BIM staff.
The role also involves assisting in the preparation of drawing sets, layouts, and model exports for design review and approval. In addition, contribute to documentation and drawing tasks by producing clear and accurate 2D drawings and details from 3D models, including plan, section, and elevation views, and supporting the creation of fabrication and installation drawing packages while maintaining consistent presentation and quality. Responsibilities also include helping manage version control and data structures within the Common Data Environment (CDE).
Collaboration is an important aspect of the role, requiring close communication with BIM Coordinators, Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure the timely and accurate exchange of model information, participation in coordination meetings or digital model reviews when required, and providing fabrication and site teams with up-to-date model data to support accurate construction information. The role also encourages continuous learning and professional development through ongoing BIM and software training, including Revit, Revizto, and company-standard workflows, while gaining familiarity with ISO 19650-compliant processes and contributing ideas to improve modelling standards and efficiency within the BIM department.
