Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) Leicester Permanent Position Up To £40,000 PA DOE Day Shift Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping machinery running at peak performance? We are on the lookout for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client and help them drive excellence in precision engineering. The Role: As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our CNC and production machinery operate smoothly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for: * Performing reactive and planned maintenance on CNC machines and other manufacturing equipment * Proving mechanical repairs on shafts, gearboxes, chains and pumps * Diagnosing PLC faults and implementing effective solutions * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability * Collaborating with production teams to minimise downtime and optimise performance What We're Looking For: * Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Familiarity with CNC machinery and hydraulic/pneumatic systems * A proactive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team * Holding a HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous What We Offer: * Competitive salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience * Day shift: 6.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Friday * Opportunities for training and career development * Stable and permanent position Ready to take your engineering career to the next level?
