SEN Teaching Assistant - Cambridgeshire Location: Bar Hill, Cambridgeshire Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (Term Time Only) Start Date: As soon as possible We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in Cambridgeshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other special educational needs (SEN). Key Responsibilities: Support children with autism and a range of additional needs, both in and out of the classroom Work closely with teachers and SENCO to deliver tailored learning plans Help to create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment Foster positive relationships with pupils to support their social and emotional development Provide personal care support when required What we are looking For: Proven experience working with children with autism and other special educational needs A calm, empathetic and adaptable approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) are desirable but not essential A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs Safeguarding Requirement: All applicants must have an Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
