Job Title: Java/Kotlin Developer Location: Sheffield Salary/Rate: £407 PD Start Date: 11/05/2026 Job Type: Contract Company Introduction A Global banking and financial services organisation focused on investment banking Job Responsibilities/Objectives 1.Collaborate with developers, testers, and wider stakeholders to build and operate scalable products 2.Design, develop, and implement backend and light frontend features aligned to product backlog priorities 3.Work closely with engineering teams to design and deliver new features 4.Engage directly with users to troubleshoot issues and respond to feature requests Required Skills/Experience 1.Strong experience in Kotlin, or Java with a willingness to transition to Kotlin 2.Proven experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence 3.Solid understanding of microservices architecture 4.Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities Desirable Skills/Experience 1.
