About the Role: You will play a vital role in supporting children’s learning across the primary age range, working with class teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment. The role will involve a mix of whole-class support, small group work, and one-to-one interventions. Key responsibilities include: * Supporting pupils in KS1 and KS2 with their learning in class, small groups, and on an individual basis. * Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and day-to-day organisation. * Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development. * Contributing to the implementation of learning and behaviour strategies tailored to individual needs. * Working closely with teachers, SEND staff, and parents to promote positive outcomes for all children. * Supporting the wider life of the school, including playground supervision and enrichment activities. We are looking for someone who: * Has experience working with primary-aged children, ideally across both KS1 and KS2. * Is nurturing, patient, and genuinely enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing. * Has a good understanding of the primary curriculum and age-appropriate learning strategies. * Communicates effectively with children and adults. * Is proactive, adaptable, and able to work well as part of a team. * Has or is willing to undertake relevant training, including safeguarding and first aid.
