Job Description
3. Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
4. Prepare monthly reconciliations and financial reports for internal stakeholders.
5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
6. Assist in budgeting and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
7. Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
8. Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting systems.
9. Provide support during audits, ensuring accurate and timely responses to queries.
10. Handle payroll processes and ensure timely payments to staff and suppliers.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Officer should have:
11. Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
12. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
13. Strong organisational and analytical skills.
14. An understanding of financial regulations within the not-for-profit sector.
