We are seeking Behaviour Support Assistants in Sunderland to start immediately. We have both part-time and full-time opportunities available, working Monday to Friday (8:30 – 15:30). We are looking for candidates who: Can build positive and trusting relationships with students Stay calm, consistent and professional in difficult situations Work well as part of a team and take initiative Are passionate about helping young people develop emotional resilience You will be supporting students with a range of behavioural and emotional needs—many of whom may find it difficult to access learning in a traditional classroom environment. You will provide a combination of 1:1 mentoring, small group support, and classroom-based interventions to promote engagement, routine, and positive behaviour. The schools we work with are focused on creating supportive, structured environments where every student can feel safe, understood, and encouraged to do their best.
