We are looking for a business-minded lawyer to join Ledgy as Commercial Counsel. At Ledgy, you will: Act as a trusted advisor on a variety of commercial transactions, including strategic partnerships, customer contracts and vendor agreements. Stay up-to-date on negotiation trends and regulatory frameworks globally to build out and maintain the commercial counselling function. Collaborate closely with Sales, Partnerships, InfoSec and People teams to advise and assist with general legal needs as they arise. Navigate and further develop our internal CLM, legal ticketing system, contract playbook and other enablement tools, in order to establish best-in-class contracting processes. Shepherd other special projects based on your own interest areas and the needs of our growing team. Report directly into our Senior Commercial & Product Counsel. You'll be a great fit for the job if you 3 years of law firm, in-house or other relevant experience. Prior experience in fintech, financial services or banking is a plus. Substantive knowledge in SaaS licensing, commercial technology contracting, strategic alliances, data protection and intellectual property. Superior project management and organizational skills, with a keen ability to work autonomously and drive your own projects to completion. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (bonus points if you're also versed in German or French). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
