Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and compassionate psychologist to join our Psychology team at Gledholt and Gledholt Mews and Coach House. The role provides high quality care to residents with complex mental health needs within a community setting, using a Rogerian Person‑Centered Therapy model.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Service Manager (Clinical Lead) and the multidisciplinary team to support residents’ recovery.
* Perform a variety of psychological assessments.
* Deliver individual and group therapies.
* Supervise Assistant Psychologists (APs) and provide consultation on residents’ care.
* Produce and deliver CPA reports and attend clinical meetings.
* Work autonomously within professional guidelines (HCPC and BPS) and the service’s policies and procedures.
* Understand and contribute to the day‑to‑day running of the service and its relationship with the ICB and external stakeholders.
* Involve in audit, policy and service development and assess and interpret outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant professional qualifications and experience in psychological assessments and therapy.
* Experience supervising assistant psychologists.
* Knowledge of HCPC and BPS guidelines and professional practice standards.
