LCP is an award-winning actuarial and analytics consultancy providing market-leading capabilities and advice across pensions and financial services, energy, health, and analytics. We use powerful analytics fused with human expertise to shape a more positive future.
This is an exciting, brand new position We're looking for a creative storyteller with a flair for B2B content - someone who can turn complex topics into punchy, platform-ready content that cuts through the noise. You'll join a 40-strong, commercially smart marketing team and play a hands-on role in raising our profile, making noise in the right places, and sparking conversations across our key audiences.
Working with our Marketing Communications Manager, you'll create eye-catching digital and social content that brings our brand to life. From videos and visuals to written posts, you'll help tell stories that engage clients, prospects, and future recruits. It's a hands-on role where creativity, curiosity, and a can-do approach can make a real impact.
Key responsibilities
* Create engaging and timely written, video and multimedia content tailored to B2B audiences - including our clients, prospects, industry stakeholders, press, current employees and future recruits
* Create and schedule social content across external and (potentially) internal platforms aligned to LCP's brand tone, audience interests, and business goals
* Contribute to content planning and scheduling to maintain a consistent flow of high-quality posts and campaigns
* Repurpose long-form thought leadership content and brand campaigns into accessible, shareable formats for a range of digital and social media use
* Shoot, edit and deliver quick turnaround, short-form video in multiple formats (this may require additional time in office or on location at certain times of the year)
* Support production and amplification of our podcast suite (with an external production partner), helping maximise reach and impact
* Create visual content using Adobe Express and similar tools
* Collaborate with marketing, design, PR & comms, HR and recruitment colleagues to ensure message and brand consistency
* Work with internal experts and influencers to turn technical topics into compelling stories and help build their confidence as content creators and/or spokespeople
* Assist with day-to-day management of social channels, including posting, monitoring engagement and responding to comments where appropriate
* Follow internal review and approval processes to ensure compliance with brand, legal and regulatory standards
* Track and report content performance, using data to improve output and engagement
* Design and share social media templates for the wider team
* Seek out new ideas, tools and approaches to enhance our content and develop your own skills
* Ensure all content is accurate, on-brand and delivered to deadline
Essential skills, qualities & experience:
* Strong experience creating and editing video content
* Understanding of B2B audiences and how to engage them
* Familiarity with Adobe Express, CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro or related tools
* Experience designing templates for social media assets
* Proven ability to plan and deliver content that drives reach and engagement
* Comfortable working onsite and collaboratively with a fast-paced team
* Excellent attention to detail - able to proof, polish and refine
Nice to haves:
* Confident writer and editor with an ear for tone and clarity
* Experience with LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or similar
* Experience amplifying podcasts or events content
* Working with subject matter experts or professional services firms
* Basic analytics or reporting knowledge
What will success look like?
You'll help us:
* Increase reach and engagement across priority platforms and audiences
* Create bold, relevant, insight-led content that sparks conversation
* Build visibility for our people and brand through social storytelling
* Repurpose and amplify existing content more effectively
* Raise the quality, consistency and pace of our content output
The person we think will thrive?
You don't need a specific background - agency, in-house, journalism, digital, creative - we're open-minded. What matters is that you're:
* Curious and proactive
* Comfortable pitching and testing ideas
* Structured when needed but focussed on progress rather than perfection
* Collaborative and confident working face to face with stakeholders of all levels
* Able to balance creativity with delivery
