Responsibilities
As a Personal Tax Manager, your role responsibilities will include:
* Client Focus: Manage a high-quality portfolio of HNW personal clients and trust structures.
* Provide expert compliance and consultancy services.
* Research complex tax issues and manage advisory assignments.
* Ensure exceptional service and timely delivery.
* Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities and services.
* Lead in providing additional services to existing clients.
* Support marketing and networking activities.
* Contribute to technical publications.
* Leadership: Implement policies and procedures effectively.
* Manage team performance and development.
* Provide coaching, feedback, and support.
* Monitor team targets and budgets.
* Provide technical training.
Requirements
As a Personal Tax Manager, you will need:
* Ideally ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or overseas equivalent.
* Extensive knowledge of IHT, Trusts, CGT, residence, domicile, and family investment companies.
* Proven experience advising HNW clients on wealth planning and personal tax.
* Strong commercial acumen and business development skills.
* Experience with international personal tax issues and offshore structures.
* In-depth understanding of tax implications for landowners and rural businesses.
