About the role
We are seeking a Scheme Manager to join our Specialist Living team. This is a site-based role at Rodney & Nelson Court, 128 Rowson Street, New Brighton, CH45 2LZ.
A driving license is required as the Scheme Manager will travel to other schemes as needed and attend the office as required.
The role involves providing intensive housing and building management services at Onward sheltered housing schemes to enable tenants to live confidently and independently, ensuring health & safety and compliance standards are met.
You will manage the day-to-day operations of the scheme, deliver excellent customer service, handle repairs reporting, and liaise with external contacts to develop processes and communication for collaborative working.
Provide tenants with appropriate housing management, respond to emergencies professionally, and ensure the scheme meets all regulatory and H&S compliance standards to minimize risks and ensure security.
Skills/Experience
* Experience working with older people in a service environment.
* Experience in building management and compliance.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety policies and risks.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a dispersed team.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Proactive approach to improving services and satisfaction.
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
* A satisfactory DBS check will be required.
* A full UK driving license and access to a car.
* Desirable: Knowledge of CQC requirements.
* Desirable: National Warden or Sheltered Housing Certificate or equivalent.
