Great opportunity for a recent Graduate looking to gain experience in schools
A Cover Supervisor is needed in Coeducational Church of England Secondary School in South East London.
This Cover Supervisor position can be part or full time and will be temporary in the first instance.
If appointed as a Cover Supervisor your duties will include but not be limited to:
Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher
Managing pupil behaviour in a positive way, in line with the schools policies
Ensuring students complete their work
Providing feedback to the team in relation to pupils behaviour
The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor post will be between £82.14 to £140 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The School
A mixed Church of England secondary school for pupils aged 11 to 16 years old, located in the London Borough of Lewisham.
Being part of an all through school, they educate pupils aged 4 to 16 years old, with Primary on one site and Secondary on another.
It is part of the Southwark Diocese.
Mental Health is taken very seriously at the school and there are dedicated support systems available for staff and pupils.
Requirements
You're welcome to apply if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor.
Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor.
All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this role as a Cover Supervisor:
Right to work in the UK
Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Cover Supervisor in UK Secondary schools
