Job Title: Site Engineer - Major Highway Development Location: Gloucester (site-based) Contract: 9-12 month Contract - Inside IR35 Rate: £430-£450 per day Start Date: ASAP About the Project We are delivering a major highway development in Gloucester and are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the team. This is a fully site-based role, offering hands-on involvement in a significant infrastructure project for a 9-12 month period. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to coordinate works and resolve on-site issues. Monitor progress against programme and report any delays or risks. Implement and enforce health and safety procedures on site. Prepare site documentation, including daily reports, method statements, risk assessments, and quality records. Ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and relevant standards. Support senior engineers and project management team in project delivery.
