Job Title: KS1 Teacher Location: Immingham Salary: £130-£180 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-Day/Long-Term, Full-Time/Part-Time GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Immingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young learners in developing key skills and building confidence during their early years. Position Summary As a KS1 Teacher, you will lead the teaching of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, with a focus on phonics, reading, writing, and early numeracy. Your role will involve creating a supportive and well-managed classroom where students can grow in confidence and succeed. KS1 Teacher Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that follow the KS1 curriculum Support children’s early development in literacy, numeracy, and communication Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe and valued Assess, record, and report on the development, progress and attainment of students Implement and monitor strategies for behaviour management and pupil engagement Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and other educators to support pupil learning Contribute to school events, planning sessions and wider curriculum enrichment Requirements for KS1 Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification is essential Recent UK experience teaching within a KS1 setting Strong understanding of phonics, early years pedagogy, and child development Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs Excellent classroom management and organisational skills Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Why Join GSL Education?
