Role Overview:
The primary responsibility of our Gas Engineers will be to maintain and repair heating systems in our clients' properties. They will ensure that the heating and hot water systems operate efficiently and safely, and that any repairs are completed in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering quality service. You'll be working across various environments and must be comfortable adapting to different settings and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region.
* Ensure high levels of customer care when dealing with clients and tenants to meet quality standards.
* Communicate updates and progress of work, completing required paperwork electronically and manually.
* Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH Records, during daily work.
* Comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures to ensure relevant parts are available to fulfill job requirements.
Skills & Experience:
* Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. Successful candidates must have CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 qualifications (essential).
* Valid UK driving licence (essential).
* Previous practical experience in domestic gas maintenance.
* Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and tenants.
Please note: The successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check prior to employment.
