About the Role
Priory Hospital Newbury, rated as outstanding by CQC, is seeking experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team. The hospital has 30 beds, including male Recovery and Rehabilitation wards and mixed Acute wards, located on the southern outskirts of Newbury. We have a diverse multidisciplinary team including Psychology, Creative Therapists, Consultant Psychiatrists, and excellent physical health care provided by a Lead Nurse and a GP. The site is accessible via public transport to Reading, Basingstoke, and London.
We are looking for dedicated nurses to work full time, with part-time hours also considered. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, participating in assessments, planning, and evaluating care needs. The role requires flexibility, enthusiasm, self-motivation, and reliability. You will work within a modern, forward-thinking, and effective service, adopting a proactive, therapeutic, and recovery-oriented approach. Mentoring, influencing, and supervising junior staff will also be part of your responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in Adult Mental Health Services
* Experience in Acute and Rehabilitation Services and the Recovery Model is advantageous
