Maintenance Technician – North Wales

Join our dynamic team in North Wales as a Maintenance Technician, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our advanced manufacturing equipment. This hands-on position involves installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing a range of Extrusion and Fibre Termination Machines, as well as associated plant and equipment—all to a high professional standard and within set timeframes. This role currently operates on a 3-shift rotating schedule(Morning/Evning/Night), with the expectation to move to a 12-hour, 2-shift pattern. This shift structure is a requirement for the role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform preventive maintenance in line with established schedules, standards, and procedures, maintaining accurate records.
\n
2. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults swiftly to minimize downtime and ensure high service levels.
\n
3. Carry out repairs on machinery and equipment, both mechanical and electrical.
\n
4. Maintain detailed documentation of breakdowns and repairs to support ISO 9000 compliance and performance analysis.

5. Liaise with equipment suppliers regarding spare parts, service visits, and ongoing maintenance planning.
