Band: 5 to 6 development post
Salary: £31,049 - £46,580 per annum/pro rata
Responsibilities
* Developmental post from Band 5 to 6; lead and coordinate a nurse-led chemotherapy day unit.
* Provide leadership and direction to junior chemotherapy trained nurses in both theory and practical administration.
* Escalate deteriorating patients by liaising directly with multiple cancer pathways.
* Maintain excellent communication with multidisciplinary teams and patients.
* Work independently/autonomously, reliably upholding dignity and human rights through person-centred care principles.
Qualifications and requirements
* Relevant SACT qualification or currently undergoing a SACT qualification.
* This is a developmental Band 6 post; must meet leadership and managerial objectives to secure Band 6.
* Ability to meet leadership objectives and deliver safe, effective chemotherapy administration.
