Responsibilities
* Preparation and negotiation of part prices, tooling, services with suppliers within your supplier responsibility
* Monitoring and reporting of raw material pricing
* Support supplier evaluations and supplier improvement projects
* Implement the respective commodity strategies in close coordination with the commodity manager
* Prepare and maintain relevant contracts within your supplier responsibility
* Ensure Key Performance Indicators in cost, quality and delivery are achieved for your supplier responsibility
* Key team member of Life Cycle Management team
* Ensure data maintenance of all supplier and parts within your responsibility
* Supplier visits and audit support for SQE, locally and internationally
* Be lead buyer for Draeger with supplier responsibility, owning the global relationship for Draeger with such suppliers, managing business reviews, strategic topics & escalation points
* Work closely with material expediting teams to ensure suppliers deliver on time and in full
* Master data maintenance

Size of Team / Environment
* Teams consists of 3 x commodity managers and 2 x APE. Along with a team of 4 looking after indirect purchasing. All situated in the same open office.
Education / Qualifications
* Degree qualified (desirable)
* CIPS or partial CIPS (desirable)
Related Experience
* ERP System: SAP
* IT knowledge: MRP Systems, MS Office, MS Outlook
* Experience of working in a strategic purchasing department of a manufacturing organisation.
