About the Role:
Join our dynamic team as an HGV Class 2 Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of food and drink products to various customers across the region. This position involves carrying out multi-drop deliveries, where your ability to handle goods safely and professionally will shine.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver Food and Drink Products: Transport goods to multiple locations, ensuring each delivery is completed efficiently and on schedule.
2. Multi-Drop Deliveries: Execute multi-drop routes with precision, ensuring that each stop is handled with care and professionalism.
3. Vehicle Checks: Conduct comprehensive daily vehicle checks to guarantee that your vehicle remains in a roadworthy condition. Promptly report any defects or issues to maintain safety standards.
4. Load Security: Secure all loads effectively to comply with transport regulations, ensuring the safe handling and transportation of goods.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is up to date, reflecting the professionalism and reliability of our service.
6. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service at every stop, representing our company with a friendly and helpful attitude.
What We’re Looking For:
7. Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence: Essential for the role, ensuring you are qualified to operate our vehicles.
8. CPC and Digital Tachograph Card: Must-have certifications to comply with industry standards.
9. Licence Points: No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, or IN convictions, ensuring safety and compliance.
10. Relevant Experience: Previous Class 2 driving experience, ideally in food and drink, multi-drop, palletised, or construction-related deliveries.
11. Professionalism and Reliability: A reliable and professional attitude with a commitment to full-time work.
