The Opportunity
We’re looking for a commercially driven and relationship-focused senior national account manager to join our sales team and lead key retail partnerships.

Responsibilities
* Input into and execute channel strategy across key retail accounts
* Deliver new business in line with volume and margin targets
* Drive sales growth through effective account development and management
* Build and deliver strategic account plans to maximise opportunities
* Manage and grow trading relationships across Own Label and Branded portfolios
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Technical, Marketing and Innovation teams
* Ensure smooth end-to-end delivery from order to cash
* Monitor market trends, customer developments and competitor activity
* Identify and unlock new business opportunities through insight and analysis
* Lead commercial negotiations to optimise profitability
* Provide regular performance updates and insights to senior leadership
* Take a long-term, strategic approach to account management aligned with both customer and business goals
About You
You’re an experienced commercial leader who thrives in the fast‑paced UK retail environment. You know how to build relationships, unlock growth and deliver results.
Experience & Background
* Extensive experience in commercial roles within the UK Retail sector
* Proven track record of delivering growth and managing key accounts
* Strong understanding of costing and pricing strategies
Key Skills
* Highly skilled negotiator, deal maker and relationship builder
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance volume, margin and long‑term growth
* Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market and customer data
* Broad understanding of cross‑functional areas including supply chain, technical, finance, operations, innovation and marketing
