Position Overview:
We are seeking a Manager, Commodity Management and Sourcing – Professional Services to join its dynamic global supply chain organization. This position will be responsible for leading strategic sourcing and supplier management for one or more categories under Professional Services, including:
* Consulting
* Finance
* Banking
* Legal
* Marketing
* Human Resources
* Contingent Labor
* Engineering Services
This role plays a key part in implementing sourcing strategies that align with the business objectives, optimize spend, reduce risk, and enhance supplier performance globally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership across assigned professional services commodities.
* Lead end-to-end sourcing including RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contract execution.
* Analyze and manage supplier performance to ensure quality, delivery, and cost compliance.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
* Develop and maintain a strategic supplier/commodity roadmap.
* Continuously evaluate supplier capabilities and market conditions.
* Drive operational efficiencies and cost savings.
* Facilitate cross-functional project teams and frequent stakeholder engagement.
* Monitor supplier compliance and resolve performance issues as needed.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in global commodity management.
* Demonstrated experience in managing Professional Services categories.
Preferred Qualifications:
* MBA or advanced degree.
* 7+ years of experience in supply chain management or procurement.
* Background in consultancy or services procurement.
* Experience leading cross-functional and global teams.
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to drive strategy independently and influence outcomes.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
