Role Overview:
My client is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team. You will be responsible for producing accurate, competitive estimates for mechanical building services projects across a range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare mechanical estimates from drawings and specifications
* Carry out take-offs for HVAC, pipework and public health services
* Issue enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors
* Analyse quotations and compile detailed cost proposals
* Identify value engineering opportunities
* Support tender submissions and client proposals
Skills & Experience Required:
* Experience estimating mechanical services in the UK construction market
* Good technical knowledge of HVAC and building services systems
* Strong numerical and analytical ability
* Ability to manage multiple tenders
* Estimating software experience preferred
* Full UK driving licence
