If you’re looking to take the next step in your finance career, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join us on a permanent basis in our Harlow Depot.
You’ll be reporting directly into the Senior Finance Business Partner and responsible for supporting the Supply Chain and Operations Division. This role will provide an appropriate balance of support and challenge to the supply chain management teams to enable them to achieve the business objective of sustainable profitable growth, with a key focus on effective operational delivery and high levels of customer service. This role will support several functions and depots, covering Harlow, Aylesford, Brighton & Thetford.
We are offering a hybrid working contract, and you will be required to attend the Harlow or Aylesford depot twice per week, with occasional visits to Brighton & Thetford. Flexibility with travel is required.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
* Provision, analysis, and interpretation of weekly and monthly reports to monitor and enhance performance.
* Production of monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
* Provide weekly flash and monthly forecasts of depot costs and volumes in conjunction with non-finance management teams.
* Reporting and monitoring of KPIs & volume on a weekly basis.
* Preparation of budgets and forecasts with appropriate challenge to maintain cost control.
* Collaborate with management teams to identify trends, CI opportunities, underperformance, and other issues to improve business performance and profitability.
* Serve as the first point of contact for finance-related matters for management teams.
* Ensure compliance with group policies, procedures, and SOX requirements, including documentation and variance investigations.
* Participate in ad hoc projects and queries as needed.
* Generate and compile business cases to support local change projects.
* Identify and resolve errors and discrepancies.
* Manage workload to contribute to timely and accurate financial reporting.
* Promote a culture of process improvement and assist with change programs.
About you:
You’ll be a recently qualified accountant or a passed finalist (CIMA, ACCA, ACA), currently operating as a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant, or Finance Analyst, seeking to join a global organization for career development.
We seek someone confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels, able to challenge decisions constructively, and provide solutions. Your finance knowledge, analytical skills, and experience will be vital for partnering with teams on risk and continuous improvement. Strong financial analysis and modeling skills are essential, along with advanced Excel proficiency. Knowledge of SAP or Workday is advantageous.
