About The Role
As a Payroll Administrator, you’ll be part of our experienced payroll team, helping to manage end-to-end payroll processes for a variety of clients. You’ll ensure everything runs smoothly from processing payments to handling employee queries while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
* Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls accurately and on schedule.
* Maintain payroll records for client employees, including new starters, leavers, and changes.
* Ensure compliance with HMRC legislation and Real Time Information (RTI) submissions.
* Calculate and process statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and holiday pay.
* Assist with pension auto‑enrolment and related submissions.
* Reconcile payroll reports and deal promptly with payroll‑related queries.
* Support the Payroll Manager with continuous improvements to payroll systems and processes.
* Assist with year‑end procedures including P60s and P11Ds.
About You
* Previous experience in payroll or finance administration (preferred).
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Confident using Microsoft Excel and comfortable with payroll software (e.g. BrightPay, Sage, or similar).
* Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC processes.
* A team player with great communication skills and a proactive attitude.
* Eager to learn and develop within a professional accountancy environment.
