Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a fast-paced and creative production company on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will manage a small team, oversee AP operations, and support the Financial Controller in driving process improvements across a collaborative finance function.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support the AP team, providing training and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
* Oversee invoice processing, expense claims, Ltd Co payroll, and payment runs
* Manage credit card and prepaid card programmes, including reconciliations and postings
* Review bank reconciliations, weekly cashflow forecasts, and key AP accounts
* Resolve supplier queries, reconcile statements, and build strong relationships
* Support month-end with tasks such as cashflow reporting and PAYE Settlement Agreement calculations
Requirements
* Previous AP leadership experience in a fast-paced, changing environment
* Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, IF/SUMIF)
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
* Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and multi-currency reconciliations
* Proactive, adaptable, and able to work with minimal supervision
* Experience with PMI accounting system and Barclays banking is desirable, but not essential
