Facilities Assistant / Support
(4 Days a Week - Immediate Start)
We're looking for a proactive and dependable Facilities Assistant to join one of our clients based in High Holborn, London. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of a busy office, ensuring the workplace is safe, clean, and well-presented for staff and visitors.
You'll be a key part of the facilities team - helping with general maintenance, health, and safety checks, setting up meeting rooms and events, and providing support across a range of office services.
This is an ongoing temporary position until Christmas, with the potential for extension into the new year.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Help ensure the building remains clean, tidy, and fully operational at all times.
2. Report and follow up on maintenance or repair issues promptly.
3. Set up and prepare meeting rooms and events, including moving furniture and equipment.
4. Support day-to-day event operations, including liaising with internal teams and contractors.
5. Conduct regular building and safety checks (fire alarms, lighting, access control, etc.).
6. Monitor and restock office and cleaning supplies as needed.
7. Act as a point of contact for staff and visitors, assisting with facilities queries.
8. Support office moves, desk setups, and deliveries.
9. Maintain facilities records and assist with basic admin duties such as processing invoices.
10. Assist with security checks, key access, and alarm systems.
About You:
11. Previous experience in a facilities, maintenance, or office support role.
12. Confident working in a professional office environment.
13. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
14. Organised, reliable, and able to prioritise multiple tasks.
15. Positive, "can-do" attitude and flexible approach to work.
16. Basic understanding of health and safety and building compliance.
17. Willing to support occasional out-of-hours events when required.
Essential Certifications:
18. First Aid trained
19. Fire Safety trained
20. SIA Certification

22. Working Days: Monday - Thursday
23. Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm
24. Pay Rate: £15.38 per hour (paid weekly)
