Due to continuous growth, Linney Display is offering an exciting opportunity for a Cardboard Engineer to join our award-winning team. The right candidate might come from a cardboard engineering, packaging, structural design, or product design background.
We seek a problem solver who enjoys challenges and works well within a diverse team to take highly creative concepts through to final products and displays.

Ideal candidates will have experience with engineering software such as Artios CAD, AutoCAD, Kasemake, Impact, or similar. We balance creativity and practicality to develop displays that are innovative, eye-catching, cost-effective, and compliant with brand and retailer guidelines. Our culture emphasizes teamwork, and you'll collaborate with a diverse team of 3D Designers, Graphic Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers.
As a Cardboard/Structural Designer, your responsibilities include:
* Generating award-winning cardboard engineering cutter guides.
* Understanding manufacturing processes, value engineering, and developing manufacturing efficiencies.
* Conducting weight testing and experimenting with new structures, prototypes, and materials.
* Communicating effectively with designers and sales teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and retail guidelines.
* Handling a range of briefs from simple shelf trays to complex free-standing displays and event sites.
* Working efficiently in a fast-paced studio environment, pivoting between tasks as needed.
* Pushing boundaries and challenging conventions in design.
