Hours: 40 hours per week (some flexibility available)
Your Responsibilities
As the Major Projects Electrical Lead, you will:
* Oversee and coordinate the electrical design for large, complex construction projects
* Act as the central point for technical excellence and team leadership
* Ensure sustainable, compliant, and cost-effective design delivery from concept to construction
* Manage design teams and integrate different disciplines
* Drive innovation for high-value projects
Your day-to-day will include:
* Leading the management of all works delivered through the Electrical team
* Effectively managing team utilization levels and balancing capabilities with workload
* Setting and maintaining quality standards for product delivery
* Providing high-level technical advice in electrical building services engineering
* Participating in project design meetings to establish solutions and agree on concepts
What We're Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you are:
* A Chartered Engineer and member of CIBSE or IET, with a degree in Mechanical Building Services or Electrical Engineering
* Knowledgeable about the road tunnel industry
* Skilled at communicating complex technical concepts to a wider audience
* Experienced in applying quality procedures and document control in engineering design
* Able to meet the BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requirements
