Buying Administrator – Temp to Perm
Location: Plymouth, Devon
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:45 – 17:30
Position: Permanent, Full-time
Pertemps Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of their client for a Buying Assistant to join their Head Office in Plymouth. This is a temp-to-perm role offering the chance to grow within a busy commercial team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Senior Buying team to drive sales, maximise profit, and achieve targets.
* Assist in planning and managing product and promotional activity.
* Liaise with suppliers to maintain accurate product information and processes.
* Keep up-to-date with competitor activity and market trends.
* Analyse data to support decision-making and business strategy.
* Ensure administrative, financial, and system tasks are completed accurately.
* Provide regular reports and support to store teams to help with smooth product rollouts.
Skills and Experience:
* Experience/Interest in retail and aAdministration would be beneficial.
* Strong communication skills and confident commercial awareness.
* Well-organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
* Competent in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and graphs.
