Overview:
A dynamic Financial Services organisation is seeking a Risk Management professional to join their team and support the implementation of a comprehensive risk management framework. This role will involve collaborating across departments to promote risk awareness, ensure compliance, and embed robust risk management practices within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide second-line risk management oversight and support, ensuring adherence to the company's Risk Management Framework.
* Maintain and update records of risks, controls, and actions within the company’s risk management system, ensuring they align with business practices.
* Facilitate and conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, helping to develop strategies for risk mitigation.
* Assist senior risk management leaders with data collection and report preparation for governance committees.
* Analyse risk data and generate business-focused risk reports and metrics to enhance awareness and performance tracking against risk objectives.
* Contribute to the maintenance of the Risk Management Framework and supporting documentation.
* Take on ad-hoc projects and duties as needed to support business objectives and departmental goals.
Essential Skills:
* Experience within a Risk Analyst position preferably within Financial Services
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
Required Knowledge:
* Familiarity with the 'Three Lines of Defence' model in financial services.
* Knowledge of Risk & Control Frameworks in financial services.
