Electrical Installation Technician - BESS
* Location: Aberdeen, Scotland
* Rate: £250-£300 per day (Outside IR35) - negotiable

Turner Lovell are supporting a leading EPC contractor delivering cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across the UK. We're seeking experienced Electrical Installation Technicians to join fast-paced project sites focusing on the physical installation and electrical integration of critical grid-scale assets. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to Scotland's energy transition, working with a contractor that boasts a strong project pipeline and the chance for repeat engagements.
This role suits individuals with solid site-based electrical installation experience, particularly those who have worked on BESS, substations, or utility-scale renewable projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Power & Control Wiring: Install and terminate high-voltage and low-voltage cabling between batteries, PCS/inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
2. Conduit & Cable Tray Systems: Install structured routes for control and power cables to ensure clean, compliant site layouts.
