Job Description
We're currently working with a well-established private construction and refurbishment company seeking a skilled Tiler to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced tradesperson looking for consistent work on high-quality residential and commercial projects.
The Role:
You'll be responsible for wall and floor tiling across a range of properties, including new builds, refurbishments, and fit-outs. The work is varied and may include kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms, communal areas, and commercial interiors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tiling preparation, layout, and installation of ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles
2. Measuring and cutting tiles to fit specific areas
3. Mixing adhesives and applying grouting
4. Ensuring a high standard of finish in line with client expectations
5. Working efficiently and safely on both occupied and unoccupied sites
Requirements:
6. NVQ Level 2 in Wall & Floor Tiling (or equivalent experience)
7. Strong background in domestic and commercial tiling
8. Ability to read and work from technical drawings
9. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
10. Own tools and PPE (transport preferred)
Desirable:
11. Experience in high-end residential or commercial fit-outs
12. CSCS card (advantageous)
