Pure Search are partnered with a Telecommunications company looking to hire a Group Tax Manager to report into the Head of Tax, as part of the wider Tax team.
Responsibilities:
VAT:
* Lead the preparation, review, and submission of EU VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions
* Monitor and ensure compliance with local VAT regulations, including changes in legislation affecting cross-border telecoms services
* Manage VAT registrations, EC Sales Lists, Intrastat filings, and reverse charge mechanisms as applicable
* Provide advisory support on VAT implications for new products, services, pricing structures, and contracts
* Liaise with external advisors and tax authorities on complex or contentious indirect tax issues.
Corporate Tax:
* Assist in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and related filings
* Support the business with corporate tax advisory matters, including transfer pricing, permanent establishment risks, and tax-efficient structuring
* Coordinate with external advisors on corporation tax matters as needed.
Requirements:
* VAT experience is compulsory, Corporate Tax is not – a VAT heavy candidate who wants to learn other taxes is desired – experience of other taxes is a bonus
* Ability to travel into London 3 days per week
* 2-4 years PQE
The role is paying up to £80,000 + bonus, based in Central London 3 days per week.
