Specification Sales Manager – KBB / Housebuilders
Area: Southern Home Counties & Essex
We are looking for a Specification Sales Manager to represent one of the most esteemed KBB manufacturer brands in the market, renowned for quality, design, and heritage, with a strong reputation across the housebuilder sector.
The Role of Specification Sales Manager – Housebuilders
*
Manage around 80 Regional Developer Accounts and local offices of national housebuilders
*
Win, track, and protect specifications as a Specification Sales Manager across new-build housebuilder developments
*
Engage with decision-makers within housebuilder organisations including Commercial Directors and Procurement teams
*
Build and maintain relationships with plumbing and heating merchants and KBB sub-contractors aligned to housebuilder projects
*
Maintain and grow existing housebuilder accounts in a well-established, high-performing territory
*
Territory performing strongly with a turnover of circa £5 million within the housebuilder and KBB sector
*
Fully trained and supported by an experienced, collaborative team specialising in KBB and housebuilder markets
*
Freedom to manage your own diary without micro-management
*
Flexible working: 3–4 days in the field, 2–3 days WFH
*
Role is approximately 80% account management due to strong existing housebuilder relationships
The candidate for the Specification Sales Manager – Housebuilders
*
Proven track record of stability and success in sales – calibre is key for this Specification Sales Manager role
*
Experience in housebuilder specification sales or KBB specification sales advantageous but not essential
*
Background in other areas of the construction industry welcomed if able to operate as a Specification Sales Manager at all levels
*
Strong relationship-building skills with confidence engaging senior housebuilder decision-makers
*
Self-motivated, independent, and able to work collaboratively
