Overview

Car Park Attendant (on-site) – National Minimum Wage. 25 hours per week, 37 weeks per annum.

Suffolk New College are currently seeking to recruit a Car Park Attendant to join the College’s Estates & Facilities Department, to undertake car park duties including; checking the validity of cars parked on site, handling money, taking photos of illegally parked cars and liaising with external agencies.


Responsibilities

* Check the validity of cars parked on site.
* Handle money as part of car park operations.
* Take photos of illegally parked cars.
* Liaise with external agencies as required.


Qualifications

* Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy, or a commitment to achieve this within a set period of time.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and Email.
* Demonstrated effective communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors and students at all levels and in various situations.
