Job Description
Work with a family-run business with experienced and compassionate staff committed to quality care and support.
Your role will include:
* You will be responsible to the Senior Carer/Care Coordinator and through her/him to the Home Care Manager.
* To be reliable, punctual, and conscientious in visiting Service Users in their own homes, providing a range of services which require flexibility and working unsocial hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
* To uphold the Company’s ethics regarding equal opportunities and Service User choice.
* Establish a supportive relationship with the Service User and their carers.
* Maintain professional boundaries at all times.
* Attend Staff Meetings.
* Report any concerns related to Service Users, Health & Safety to your line Manager.
* Assist Senior Carer/Care Coordinators and the Home Care Manager in completing and updating Care Plans.
* Abide by legislative duties concerning Quality and Safeguarding.
* Raise concerns regarding Service Users, yourself, or other staff with your line manager.
* Follow all Company policies and procedures, especially regarding Health & Safety and the no lifting policy.
* Complete required training to meet legislative requirements.
* Accurately complete administration procedures and report writing on time.
* Follow the Company’s dress code, including wearing the uniform and ID badge.
* Cover for colleagues during holidays or sick leave.
* Work responsibly in isolated situations with Service Users, reporting hazards and risks to your line manager.
* Perform any other relevant tasks as designated by the Company.

Training
