We began by offering home care to the elderly in our local area, and when this became a success, we expanded to include Self-employed Live-In Care. Our aim is to help people remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible, providing assistance with daily tasks and complex care needs. We recognize that every customer is unique, which makes each day different.
Your Roles and Responsibilities as a Self-employed Live-in Care Assistant
As a Self-employed Live-in Care Assistant, you will live with one of our customers, or possibly a couple, to deliver the highest quality care. Your role is to be a companion and to support their independence and cherished memories in their home.
* Providing personal care duties
* Administering medication
* Manual handling with equipment where required
* Promoting customer health and well-being
* Household chores
* Meal preparation
* Shopping
* Social outings
* Offering companionship
Initially, you will live with our customers for 3 weeks on and 1 week off. Once familiar with your role, you may stay for up to 8 consecutive weeks.
Your Experience and Suitability
Previous experience is advantageous but not essential. We prioritize compassion, care, and patience, ensuring that our matches are based on personality compatibility so that both our customers and carers feel comfortable. We seek individuals who genuinely care for our customers as if they were family.

Key Requirements
* DBS disclosure via the update service
* Three suitable references (professional and/or educational)
* Experience in care delivery
* Preferably, a valid driving license and vehicle
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Good verbal and written English skills
* Up-to-date mandatory training certificates
